NEET Physics Quick Revision Tips

Fri Mar 14, 2025

NEET Physics trips up half the aspirants—don’t let it trip you. I topped JEE with fast revision habits—here’s how to ace NEET Physics without losing your sanity. These aren’t fluffy tips; they’re straight from the trenches, built to get you marks quick.

Memorize formulas first—F = ma, V = IR, W = Fd cos θ—20 core ones, no excuses. I’d write them 10 times daily—10 minutes—until they were second nature; NEET loves formula traps, and I sidestepped them all.

Focus on Mechanics—Newton’s Laws, Work-Energy—8-10 questions every year; I’d solve 15 problems a night to lock it in, no shortcuts skipped. Electricity’s big—Ohm’s Law, circuits—6-8 questions—I’d draw 5 circuits daily, 5 minutes, tracing current until it was instinct. Optics is clutch—lens formula (1/f = 1/u + 1/v)—5-7 questions—I’d sketch rays for 10 minutes a night till it was crystal clear.

Don’t skip Modern Physics—photoelectric effect, nuclear decay—4-6 questions—my quick win with 10 flashcards a day.Practice is your backbone—20 questions a night, 1 hour—past papers, no breaks; I’d score 80%+ to cement concepts tight. Diagrams were my hack—force vectors, circuit loops—5 minutes sketching saved 10 on exam day.

Skip low-weight stuff—Thermodynamics, just 2-3 questions—and hammer the big five—revision’s about marks, not perfection. Study 1 hour daily—30 minutes formulas, 30 minutes problems—mock scores jump from 20 to 40 fast.
